This was supposed to be a Creed/Nickelback-esque love ballad but somehow my vocals ended up sounding like Bret Michaels of Poison, so let's just say its a mix of poison and nickelback. Written and recorded in 4 hours- 1 take on pretty much everything.
lyrics
It's raining
Been raining for days
They're saying it might just flood as early as today
I got my baby, she's coming over tonight
Thats' right- my baby's gonna make everything all right
Let it rain outside
I'll be fine
I'm gonna love you baby
Love you tonight
With you by my side
Everything's alright
The neighbors are leaving
The towns already gone
I'm sticking around baby, it won't be too long
Before you show up on my doorstep looking hot enough to melt ice
So I'm not too worried about rain tonight
That's right
You show up, baby
Your eyes look into mine
And I know in that one second, we'll be fine
Let it
Let it
Let it rain
We'll make sweet love baby
Anyway
